The House resolved itself into a
COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE HOUSE,
To consider said bill.
The Speaker called Mr. Carter to the Chair,
When said bill was considered.
Mr. Grove, of Frederick, submitted the following
proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
After the word "Washington," in the last line of
section 1, insert the words "Frederick, Carroll and
Howard," and strike out in same line the word
"County," and insert "Counties."
Which was rejected.
