Cecil, Bowie, of Prince George's, Perrie, Bryan,

Said bill was then sent to the Senate.
House bill entitled an Act to provide for the de-
struction of fruit trees in the State of Maryland,
infected with the disease known as the "Yellows."
Being on its third reading,
On motion of Mr. Grove, of Frederick,
The House resolved itself into a
COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE HOUSE,
To consider said bill.
The Speaker called Mr. Carter to the Chair,
When said bill was considered.
Mr. Grove, of Frederick, submitted the following
proposed amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
After the word "Washington," in the last line of
section 1, insert the words "Frederick, Carroll and
Howard," and strike out in same line the word
"County," and insert "Counties."
Which was rejected.
On motion of Mr. Sellman,
The committee then rose,
The Speaker resumed the Chair.
