House bill entitled an Act to pay Wm. Flaherty
fifty-four dollars and fifty-seven cents, money paid by
him to the State Treasurer for license.
Mr. Brennan submitted the following proposed
amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend the bill by adding section 2 to follow sec-
tion 1.
Sections. And be it enacted, That the Comptroller
of the Treasury be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed, to draw his warrant upon the Treasurer in
favor of Wm. Henry and Mary J. Beecher, for the
sum of $57.00, and refund to them the said amount,
which is the proportionate part of the license fee paid
by them to the State Treasurer for dredging license
not wholly used.
Which was adopted.
