Mr. Collins from Special Joint Committee, sub-
mitted the following report:
The Joint Committee of the two Houses of the Gen-
eral Assembly appointed to notify Hon. Charles H.
Gibson of his election to the Senate of the United
States, for the unexpired term of the late Hon. E. K.
Wilson, respectfully report, that on the 27th day of
January they visited Senator Gibson and performed
the duty they had in charge, and have received from
him the following letter:
