REPORT OF JOINT CONFERENCE COMMITTEE.
Mr. Laws, chairman on the part of the House, on
the, disagreeing votes of the two Houses on
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments chapter 224, of the Arts of 1800,
entitled an Act to repeal sections 61, 69 and 74, of
Article 23, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Wicomico County," sub-title "Liquors,"
Submitted the following
REPORT:
The Joint Conference Committee, to House Bill No.
484, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments chapter 224, of the laws of 1890, of the
General Assembly of Maryland, entitled an Act to re-
peal sections 61, 69 and 74, of Article 23, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Wicomico
County," sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks,"
aiid to re-enact the same with amendments, respect-
fully concur in amendments 1, 2, 4 and 9, and recom-
mend in lieu of amendment <43" the following amend-
ments: (1.) Strike out in next to last line of sec-
tion 61, the word "thousand," and insert "five
hundred," and strike out figures ($1,000.00) and
insert ($800.00.) (2.) At the end of section 61, add:
"Provided, that the question whether or not the
above proviso as to a substantial freeholder shall
apply to No. 10, (Sharpstown,) shall be sub-
mitted to the registered and qualified voters of the
