REPORT OF JOINT COMMITTEE OF CON-
FERENCE.
Mr. Field (Chairman on the part of the House) on
the disagreeing vote of the two Houses, on
House bill entitled an Act making appropriations
for the support of the State Government for the fiscal
year ending September 30th, 1894, submitted the fol-
lowing
REPORT:
To the Honorable, the House of Delegates:
The undersigned, members composing the Joint
Conference Committee of the Senate and House of
Delegates, upon the disagreeing vote of the two
Houses upon the amendments of the Senate to House
Bill No. 242, being the Act providing for the general
appropriations for State purposes for the year 1894,
respectfully report:,
That after a conference, they have arrived at the
following agreement, which they recommend for adop-
tion by your Honorable Body, viz :
That the House recede from its objections to the
Senate amendments to House Bill No. 242, and con-
cur therein, with the following amendments: Amend
by striking out the word "three," in line 5 of page 2
of the bill, and insert in lieu thereof the word "four,"
and by striking out the words "twenty four," in line
6, of same page, and insert in lieu thereof the words
"thirty-one ;" amend by striking out the word "two,"
at the beginning of line 8, of page 2, and insert in
lieu thereof the word "three."
And by striking out the word "eight," in same
line, and insert in lieu thereof the word "six."
