1512 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Apl. 4,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments sections 112 and 113, of Article 2,
ol the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arun-
del County," sub title "County Commissioners," and
to add two new sections thereto, to follow sections
112 A and 112 B.
Mr. Brashears submitted the following proposed
amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Strike out section 113.
Also, amend section 1, line 1, by striking out the
words "and 118," and change the word "sections" to
"suction."
Also, in title, change "sections" to "section," and
strike out the word "and 113."
Which were severally adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read a third time,
and passed by yeas and nays, as follows:
AFFIRMATIVE.—Messrs. Speaker, Combs, Garner,
Strong, Wilson, Brashears, Donaldson, Hutchins,
Sappington, of Anne Arundel, Ireland, Lane, Carrico,
Maddox, Orrick, Cole, Elliott, Hamilton, Jr., Mon-
monier, Collins, Wooters, Leonard, Green, Anderson,
Sterling, Smith, of Dorchester, Grove, of Cecil, Bowie,
of Prince George's, Hill, Perrie, Bryan, Wallen,
Godwin, Hayman, McSherry, Gaver, Grove, of Fred-
erick, Sappington, of Frederick, Bevard, Stearns,
Deen, Johnson, Thompson, Fox, O'Conor, Gill,
Cornthwaite, Griffith, Buckey, Haines, Laws—50.
NEGATIVE.—None.
Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
SECOND ORDER OF THE DAY.
The House, at 12.30, considered the Second Order
of the Day, being
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections from
67 to 76, inclusive, of Article 72, of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, title "Oysters," sub-title "State
Shipping Commissioners," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
