Mr. McSherry, acting Chairman of the Committee
on Ways and Means, reported favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money for the purchase of an iron safe for the Execu-
tive Mansion, &c.
Which was lead a second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Mr. Sams moved to suspend the rules, in order to
put said bill upon its third reading and final passage.
The rules were suspended, (two-thirds of all the
members elect) voting in the affirmative, by yeas and
nays, as follows:
