House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 201, of
chapter 49, of Act passed at January Session, 1892,
entitled an Act to repeal an Act to repeal section 182
to 217, inclusive, of Article 3, of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Baltimore County," sub-title
"Roads," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Were severally read a second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading.
House bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to
sundry gifts, bequests find devises contained in the
last wills and testaments of certain persons, late of the
State of Maryland, deceased, and also to certain gifts,
grants, sales, leases and deeds made by various per-
sons in this State to and for the use and benefit of
sundry ministerial persons, religious corporations,
denominations or acts and to certain charitable insti-
tutions
Mr. Carter submitted the following proposed amend-
ment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
"To the bequest of Mrs. Augusta Thobzeneer, late
of Baltimore city, to the Evangelical Lutheran St.
Mathews Congregation of Baltimore city."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Laird submitted the following proposed amend-
ment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
"To the bequests contained in the last will and
testament of Alien Bowie Davis, of Montgomery
county, deceased, to the vestry of St. John's Church,
in said county.
Which was adopted.
Mr. Carter submitted the following proposed amend-
ment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out the twenty-ninth clause.
Which was adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read a second time,
and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
