The Secretary of the Senate appeared and de-
livered the following message:
House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town
of Lonaconing, in Allegany county.
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays."

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and em-
power the Governor of the State of Maryland to ap-
point an additional Justice of the Peace for the first
precinct of the fourth election district of Caroline
county.
Endorsed: "'Reported unfavorably from Select Com-
mittee, and report adopted."
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct
the return of certain moneys to Wm. W. Evans and
Wm. P. Barnes, of Somerset county, paid as fines for
violating an Act that had been repealed.

Committee on Ways and Means.
Also,
Senate bill entitled an Act to establish a State
weather service, and to make an appropriation therefor.
