AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
At the end of section 43 insert the following:
"Provided, however, that all taxes levied upon and
collected from the property within the area or terri-
tory brought within the corporate limits of the town of
Cambridge by the provisions of this Act and not here-
tofore within the corporate limits, shall be applied to
and expended for the improvement of that portion of
the town so brought within the corporate limits for a
period of three years from the date of this Act."
Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Miles, the Committee rose.
The Speaker resumed the Chair.
Mr. Brennan, as Chairman of the Committee of the
Whole House, reported the said bill with the pro-
posed amendment and recommended that it be adopted
and bill passed.
