with amendments section 227, of Article 93, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Testamentary
Law," sub-title "Orphans' Court."
Mr. Hill moved to substitute the bill for the un-
favorable report.
Which motion was rejected.
Report of the Committee was then adopted.
Also, favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to give the sanction of
the Legislature to the gifts, devises and bequests to
divers charitable and religious institutions contained
in the last will and testament of Edward Power, late
of Baltimore county, deceased, and to prevent any
failure of the testamentary purposes of the said
Edward Power by reason of uncertainty or misconcep-
tion to any of said beneficiaries.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Laird, from the Committee on Library, reported
favorably,
Joint Resolution authorizing the State Librarian to
lend to the Law Faculty of Baltimore University cer-
tain law books.
