to bona fide resident citizens of Dorchester County licensed


to take or catch oysters in the waters of said county.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

CHAPTER 695.


AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the General


Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests and


devises, contained in the last wills and testaments, of


certain persons, late of the State of Maryland, deceased,


and also to certain gifts, grants, sales, leases, and deeds


made by various persons in this State, to and for the use


and benefit of sundry ministerial persons, religious corpo-


rations, denominations or sects and to certain charitable


institutions.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the General


Assembly of Maryland, be and the same are hereby declared,

grants, sales, leases, and deeds to and for the use and


benefits of certain ministerial persons, religions corpora-


tions, denominations or sects and to certain charitable


institutions as herein set forth.


1. To the deed of conveyance of a certain church property


on Columbia avenue near Parkin street in the city of Balti-

among the land records of said city in Liber J. B., No. 1333,

conveyance, of said church property, by the said vestry


of St. Peter's Church in the city of Baltimore to the vestry


of Henshaw Memorial Church of Baltimore City.


2. To the bequest and devise to the Missionary Society of


the Methodist Episcopal Church, incorporated by the Legis-


lature of the State of New York, contained in the last will
