CHAPTER 676.

AN ACT to aid, promote and encourage manufactories in
|

|
|
|
the towu of Easton, Talbot County, in this State, by
|
|
|
|
|
exempting them from county and municipal taxation.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That for the purpose of aiding, promoting and
|
|
|
|
|
encouraging the erection of manufactories in the towns of
|
|
|
|
|
Easton, Trappe, Oxford, St. Michaels and the village of
|
Exemp-
|
|
|
|
Cordova, Talbot County, in this State, that the County
|

Commissioners of Talbot County and the commissioners of
|

taxation.

the town of Easton be and they are hereby authorized and
|
|
|
|

empowered in their discretion to exempt any and all manu-
|
|
|

factories which shall hereafter be erected and conducted in
|
|
|
|
|
said town of Easton or adjacent thereto from all county and
|
|
|
|
|
municipal taxation.

|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts and parts of acts
|
|
|
|
|
inconsistent herewith be and the same is hereby repealed.
|

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

AN ACT to authorize and empower Wyatt Owen to build a

|
|
|
bridge from a point on the shore of the Patapsco River
|
|
|
|
|
near Lester's Wharf to connect with Light Street Bridge
|
|
|
|
|
over the Patapsco River.
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
|
|
Maryland, That Wyatt Owen be and he is hereby authorized
|
|
|
|
|
and empowered to build a bridge from the shore of the
|

to build a
|
|
|
|
Patapsco River at or near Lester's Wharf to connect with
|
bridge.
|
|
|
|
the Light Street Bridge of Baltimore City over said Patapsco
|
|
|
|
|
River south of the draw in said bridge, at a point to be
|
|
|
|
|
determined upon by the engineer of the harbor board of
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
