161 J. Every voter shall deliver to the judges of election


in the ward in which he offers to vote, one official ballot to be

and sixty-one of this article, and the ballot so delivered to

the ballot-box until the polls be closed, subject to the limi-

not exceeding five hundred dollars, or by imprisonment not


exceeding six months, or by both fine and imprisonment in,

political party which cast less than one-fifth of all the votes


in the State at the last preceding general election ; the posi-
