lars and fifteen cents in favor of the Schultz Gas Fixtures


and Art Metal Company of Baltimore City for furnishing


new gas and electric fixtures and in the State House the


comptroller's building and the treasurer's office. The said


claim being for ballauce as set out iu the report of the


comptroller's of the last General Assembly.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

Effective.

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 559.


AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners


of Queen Anne's County to grant a pension to John


Blackstone of the seventh election district of said county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's

Pension.

County be and they are hereby authorized empowered and


directed to grant an annual pension of fifty dollars to John


Blackstone of said county during the natural life of the


said Blackstone, and to levy said amount on the assessable


property of said county.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

CHAPTER 560.


AN ACT to permit the County Commissioners of Baltimore


County to lay out and open public roads in the thirteenth


election district of Baltimore County within two miles of


Baltimore City.


WHEREAS, the public convenience demands that certain


roads should be laid out and constructed in that part of the

Preamble.
