CHAPTER 503.

AN ACT to incorporate the Robeson Cemetery Association

SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

be able and liable to sue and be sued in any court of law or

power to purchase and hold not exceeding ten (10) acres of

land, with authority to said corporation to receive gifts and

bequests for the purpose of ornamenting and improving said

cemetery, and to hold such personal property as may be

requisite to carry out the objects of this act.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the affairs of said corpora-

tion shall be conducted by a board of directors, to consist

tinue one year, or until another election ; the first election

under the provisions of this act shall be held on the first

soon thereafter as convenient ; the directors thereafter shall

be elected annually, at such time and place, and in such man-

ner as the by-laws of this corporation may direct ; the direc-

tors for the time being, or a majority of them shall have the

power to elect a president, secretary and treasurer from their

own body, to fill vacancies that may occur, to require the

secretary and treasurer to give bond as in their judgment
