CHAPTER 381.

AN ACT to authorize the comptroller to issue his warrant

upon the treasurer to pay to the Westminster Water Com-

pany twenty-four dollars and seventy-five cents, being

State taxes for 1884, 1885, 1886, and 1887, erroneously

paid the treasurer of Carroll County, and by him paid

into the Treasurer of the State of Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the comptroller be and he is hereby author-

ized and directed to issue his warrant upon the treasurer to

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 382.

AN ACT to repeal chapter three hundred and nine of the

acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at

January session, eighteen hundred and eighty-six, enti-

tled an act to amend the charter of the Grangers' Mutual

Fire Insurance Company of Frederick County; and to

grant a new charter to said company.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That chapter three hundred and nine of the
