CHAPTER 371.


AN ACT to refund to William S. Gordy late collector of


taxes for Wicomico County, .a certain sum of money erro-


neously paid by him into the treasury.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That the comptroller of the treasurer be and he


is hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon

the treasurer in favor of William S. Gordy late collector of


taxes for the fourth election district of Wicomico County, in


the sum of fifty-two dollars and eighty-five cents said


amount being overpaid by him into the treasury for the


year 1885, the treasury officials having recommended the


refunding thereof.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect


from the date of its passage.


Approved April 6th, 1892.

CHAPTER 372.

AN ACT to enable the mayor and city council of Baltimore
to appropriate a sum of money annually for the relief of
the Simmin's Home for friendless children of Baltimore.
