officers by said clerk of the court, and the other one of which

alphabetical lists shall comprise the names of the persons
|
|
|

whom said respective officers of registration have newly
|
|
|
|
registered as qualified voters in the respective wards of the
|
|
|
|
city of Hagerstown at their said sittings, and also the said
|
|
|
|
respective officers of registration shall cause said respective
|
|
|
|
lists to be published by hand-bills posted in such public
|
|
|
|
places as they may respectively select in their respective
|
|
|
|
wards, in not less than teu of such places in each ward of the
|
|
|
|
registration district of which such ward shall be a part.

|
|
SEC. 159 P. If any resident of any ward, wlio may become
|
|
|
|
qualified to vote in such ward after the occurrence of an
|
|
|
|
election therein subsequent to the last appointed day of the
|
|
|
|
last sitting of the officers of registration for such ward shall
|
|
|

desire to be registered therein for the purpose of voting at

for such ward, or if any person sliall think himself aggrieved

by the refusal of the officers of registration of any ward at
|

any sitting appointed by law for the purpose of registration

of qualified voters in such ward, or for the revision and cor-
|
|
|
|
rection of the duplicate registries of qualified and registered
|
|
|
|
voters in such ward, or by striking off his name, or the name
|
|
|
|
of any other registered voter from the duplicate registries of
|
|
|
|
voters of such ward, or by misspelling his name in such
|
|
|
|
registries of voters or either of them, or by the registration
|
|
|
|
of any person in any such ward who was not entitled to be
|
|
|
|
registered therein, or by refusing to strike from the duplicate
|
|
|
|
registries of voters the name of any person who has ceased
|
|
|

to be a qualified voter in said ward since he was registered,

|
he shall have the right to appeal forthwith from such decision
|
|
|
|
or action to the judges or judge of the Circuit Court for
|
|
|
|
Washington County by petition verified by his oath or affir-

mation, within one week after the day of the sitting for
|
|
|
|
revision; such petition shall fully state the matter whereof
|
|
|
|
complaint is made ; there shall be filed therewith as exhibits
|
|
|
|
certified copies of all the entries in the proper registry of
|
|
|
|
voters of such ward which relate to the subject matter of
|
|
|
|
|
|
