CHAPTER 185.


AN ACT to authorize and empower the Board of Police


Commissioners for the city of Baltimore to purchase or


lease ground in the 21st and 22nd wards of said city, or


either of them, and to have erected thereon a suitable


station house or station houses ; to have the title thereof


vested in the mayor and city council of Baltimore City,


and to pay the cost and expenses thereof out of the special


fund of the said Board of Police Commissioners.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That the Board of Police Commissioners be, and

timore, or either of them, as may be suitable in their judg-


ment for the erection of a station house or houses thereon,


and that they be and hereby are authorized and empowered

may deem suitable and proper.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the title to said lot of


ground and the improvements thereon, shall be vested in

practice in certain cases in the Baltimore City Courts.
