CHAPTER 181.


AN ACT to provide for an additional justice of the peace in


the third election district of Harford County.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of


Maryland, That the Governor of the State of Maryland be

AN ACT to provide for the selecting, drawing and sum-


moning of jurors for Anne Arundel County.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

said clerk, to the commissioners to be under the age of


twenty-five years, to which list, so to be made and filed, he


shall append a certificate that said list is fully and fairly


made ; and for which said list he shall receive such compen-


sation as the county commissioners of said county shall deem


right and proper, not exceeding fifty dollars for any one list


so made out ; and for failure to perform the duty hereby im-


posed, the said clerk shall forfeit and pay to the State a fine


of not less than five hundred dollars nor more than one


thousand dollars, in the discretion of the court, to be re-


covered by indictment as for a misdemeanor and shall thence-


forth be inelligible of holding the position of clerk to said


county commissioners.


SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of the
