any ward of the city of Baltimore shall on the days succeeding


the close of their October sitting in each year, deliver to the clerk


of the superior court of Baltimore city the duplicate registries of


voters so completed as aforesaid of each of the election precincts


of which they are officers of registration, and shall append to


each of said registries before so delivering the same a certificate


signed by themselves and verified by their respective oaths or


affirmations, that the entries in said registries of voters of the


names and residences of the persons shown thereby to be quali-


fied voters, were made bona fide and according to the require-


ments of this article, and that no name has been omitted from or


added to said registries of voters contrary to the requirements of


this article; and it shall be the duty of the clerk of the superior


court of Baltimore city to deliver one of such duplicate registries
for each of said precincts to the hoard of supervisors of elections


in Baltimore city on or before the Saturday next preceding the


election in each year.


17. Each officer of registration appointed for any election dis-


trict in any county of this State, shall on the second day after


the close of his October revision in each year deliver to the clerk


of the circuit court for his county the duplicate registries of


voters of the election district, or of each election precinct in the


election district of which he is an officer of registration, and shall

18. For the correction of the registries of voters made as afore-


said in each election district of a county in this State, each of


said officers of registration appointed for each election district in


this State shall demand from the clerk of the circuit court for


his county before the third Monday of September, eighteen hun-


dred and ninety, and before the same day in every year thereafter,


in the counties the original duplicate registries of voters for the


election district for which he was appointed an officer of regis-


tration, or original duplicate registries of voters for the election


precincts of the election district for which he was so appointed,


if such election district is so divided, which respective duplicate


registries it shall be the duty of the said respective clerks to de-
