CHAPTER 446.

AN ACT to repeal section two hundred and seventy-one, article

twenty-four, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,

title "Worcester county," sub-title "Wild Fowl," and to re-

enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

Repeal

That section two hundred and seventy-one, of article twenty-four,

of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Worcester

county," sub-title "Wild Fowl," be and the same is hereby re-

pealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

SEC. 271. No person, between the tenth day of April and the

first day of November in each and every year, shall shoot or kill

or shoot at any wild fowl within the limits of Worcester county ;

and all non-residents of the State of Maryland shall be excluded

from the privilege of shooting any wild fowl in Worcester county,

unless he shall have first obtained a license from the clerk of the

Wild fowl.

circuit court of said county, which shall give him the same privi-

lege of shooting as though he were a citizen of said State, for one

year from the date of its issue and no longer, and he shall pay

the sum of ten dollars for said license; any non-resident not

complying with the provisions of this act, shall be fined not less

than ($25) twenty-five dollars, nor more than ($50) fifty dollars

with costs of trial, in the discretion of the court or justice of the

peace before which he may be tried, one-half of said fine to go to

the informer and the balance together with the license fee to the

county commissioners, to be applied by them to the public roads

of Worcester county; this act shall not go into effect until after

April tenth, eighteen hundred and ninety.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the county commissioners of

Dorchester and Wicomico counties to construct a bridge over

the Nanticoke river, at Vienna.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That the county commissioners of Dorchester and Wicomico

counties, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to

advertise for proposals for constructing a bridge across the Nan-

ticoke river, at Vienna, for the passage of vehicles, and after re-

ceiving such proposals may, in their discretion, contract for the

building of such bridge upon such terms as to them may seem

proper; but said county commissioners shall not be required to
