CHAPTER 346.


AN ACT to repeal section two hundred and eighty-nine, of article


eleven, of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Mary-


land, title "Frederick county," sub-title "Justices of the Peace


and Constables," and re-enact the same with an amendment.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

''Frederick county," sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Con-


stables," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted as so


to read as follows :


287. There shall be the following number of justices of the


peace and constables in Frederick county, to wit : for election


district number one, four justices of the peace, one of whom shall


reside at Point of Rocks, and three constables; for election dis-


trict number two, five justices of the peace and five constables ;


for election district number three, three justices of the peace and


three constables; for election district number four, three justices


of the peace and three constables; for election district number


five, four justices of the peace and three constables; for election


district number six, three justices of the peace and three con-


stables; for election district number seven, four justices of the


peace and three constables; for election district number eight,
