Laws repealed by this act, and all violatious of any of the said


provisions of said article that shall have occurred before the pas-


sage of this act shall be prosecuted to conviction and punishment


to the same extent as if this act had not been passed.

SEC. 22. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from


the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 335.


AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay the claims of


Messrs. Oehm and company, clothiers of Baltimore, Maryland,


for uniforms furnished the Baltimore light infantry.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That the comptroller of the treasury be and is hereby authorized


and directed to draw his warrant upon the treasurer of the State

in favor of Messrs. Oehm and company of Baltimore, for the sum


of one thousand five hundred and eighteen dollars and sixty-two


cents (1,518.62,) being the amount due them for uniforms


furnished the Baltimore light infantry; provided, that the same


hereby appropriated shall be paid out of the annual appropriation


for the year eighteen hundred and ninety to the militia, but not


to be deducted from or considered as a part of the share of such


appropriation applicable to said Baltimore light infantry.
