the same, and it shall then be returned by the sheriff to the clerk

of the Baltimore cicy court to be filed in said court for confirma-

tion by said court at its next term, if no sufficient cause to the
|
|
|
|
contrary be shown, and when ratified shall be recorded by said
|
|
|
|
clerk at the expense of the directors of the Maryland penitentiary;
|
|
|
|
but if said award be set aside the court shall direct another in-
|
|
|
|
quisition to be taken in the manner hereinbefore prescribed; and

|

every such inquisition shall describe the land taken, and the

quantity or duration of the interest in the same so valued for the

directors of the Maryland penitentiary, and such valuation when
|
|
|

paid or tendered to the owner or owners of any interest in the

same, or his, or her, or their legal representatives, shall entitle

the directors of the Maryland penitentiary to the estate or interest

|
|
|
so valued as fully as if conveyed by the owner or owners thereof,

|
|
and the valuation if not received when tendered, may at any time
|
|
|
|
thereafter be received from the directors of the Maryland peni-
|
|
|
|
tentiary by the said owner or owners thereof.

Effective.
|
SEC. 3. Ana be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
|
|
|
|
the date of its passage.

article seventeen, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
" Prince George's county," sub-title " Laurel," and to add ad-
ditional sections thereto.
