SEC. 9. And be it enacted. That this act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 162.


AN ACT to authorize and empower the vestry of Holy Trinity


parish and church, in Bowie district of Prince George's county,


to receive by deed and hold as owner seven acres of land, more


or less, to be conveyed to said vestry by William Stanley of


said county.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

To receive

That the vestry of Holy Trinity parish in Bowie district, Prince
George's county, Maryland, be and they are hereby empowered to


receive by deed from William Stanley and Sallie R. Stanley, his


wife, of said county, seven acres of land, more or less, adjoining;


said church property.

Effective

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from


the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 163.


AN ACT to repeal section two hundred and sixty-four, of article


seventeen, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Prince


George's county," sub-title "Out-Pensioners," and to re-enact


the same with amendments.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,


That section two hundred and sixty-four, of article seventeen, of

Repeal

the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Prince George's county,"'


sub-title "Out-Pensioners," be and hereby is repealed and the


same is re-enacted so as to read as follows :'


264. The county commissioners shall have full power to allow


pensions to all persons citizens of said county and residents thereof, "

Pensions

who in the judgment of said commissioners may be entitled


thereto; provided, that no pension shall be allowed by order of


the board except upon written application and a verified state-


ment of all facts on which said order is asked first filed with the


clerk of the board.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from


the date of its passage.
