CHAPTER 152.

AN ACT to refund to John F. Ching, of St. Mary's county, the

|
|

sum of three dollars and thirty-five cents, for money paid erro-
|
|
|
|
neously into the State treasury.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That the treasurer of the State be and he is hereby authorized
|
|
|
|
on the warrant of the comptroller, which said comptroller is
|
|
|
|
hereby authorized and directed to draw, to pay to John F. Ching,
|
|
|
|
of St. Mary's county, the sum of three dollars and thirty-five cents,
|
To pay.
|
|
|
for money erroneously paid into the treasury of the State in excess
|
|
|
|
of the sum which he owed for State taxes in the years eighteen
|
|
|
|
hundred and seventy-two, eighteen hundred and seventy-three,
|
|
|
|
eighteen hundred and seventy-four, eighteen hundred and sev-
|
|
|
|
enty-five, the same having been approved by the officers of the
|
|
|
|
treasury department.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from

CHAPTER 153.
|
|
|
|
AN ACT to protect the owners of ducking ponds of Dorchester
|
|
|
|
county.
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
|
|
|
|
That it shall not be lawful for any person or persons to shoot or
|
|
|
|
trap wild fowl or other game without the consent of the owner in
|
Game.
|
|
|
any pond or ponds which are private property of aay citizen of
|
|
|
|
Dorchester county; provided, previous notice in writing has been
|
|
|
|
posted in two conspicuous places at or near the shore of such ponds.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That any person or persons violating
|
|
|
|
the provisions of the preceding section shall be liable to a fine of
|
|
|
