SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said presi-
|
|
|
|
dent and directors, or a majority of them, are hereby
|
|
|
|
authorized to subscribe to, purchase and hold, any
portion of the capital stock or securities of the North
|
|
|

and purchase
to.

Baltimore Passenger Railway Company of Balti-
more county, a corporation duly incorporated under
the act of eighteen hundred and sixty eight, chapter
|
|
|
|
four hundred and seventy-one, and now operating
|
|
|
|
its said passenger railway from Waverly, in Balti-
|
|
|
|
more county, to the north boundary of Baltimore
|
|
|
|
city, and forming in fact a connecting line with the
|
|
|
|
railway of said president and directors.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the corporate
|
|
|
|
name of the said Baltimore, Peabody Heights and
|
|
|
Change of
|
Waverly Passenger Railroad be and the same is
|
|
|
name.
|
hereby changed to the name of the North Balti-
|
|
|
|
more Passenger Railway Company.
|
|
|
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall
|
|
|
|
take effect eo soon as it shall be assented to by three-
|
|
|

fourths of the capital stock of said company voting
|
|
|
|
at a general meeting of stockholders lawfully as-
|
|
|
|
sembled.
