CHAPTER 451.


AN ACT to repeal sections one hundred and fifty-


five and one hundred and fifty-six of the Code of


Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester county,"


as enacted by the act passed at January session,


eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, chapter four


hundred and seventy-seven, relating to " Roads,"


and to re-enact the same with amendments.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly


of Maryland, That sections one hundred and fifty-


five and one hundred and fifty-six of the Code of

Repealed and
re-enacted.

Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester county," as


enacted by the act passed at January session, eighteen


hundred and seventy-eight, chapter four hundred


and seventy-seven, relating to " Roads," be and the


same are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-


ments so as to read as follows :


155. All able bodied male residents of said county,


who have resided thirty days in said road district,


above the age of twenty and under fifty years, who


do not reside within the limits of an incorporated


town, shall be compelled to labor in repairing the


roads at least two days in every year ; and every


man owning horse or ox team shall be compelled to
