CHAPTER 450.

AN ACT to repeal chapter four hundred and nine-

teen of the acts of the General Assembly of Mary-

land, passed at the January session in eighteen

hundred and seventy-eight, entitled "An act to

incorporate the Agricultural and Mechanical As-

sociation of Wicomico county," and to enact the

following in lieu thereof:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That chapter four hundred and

nineteen of the acts of the said General Assembly,

serving order, enforcing the rules, by-laws and regu-
lations of the said association, not inconsistent with

the laws of this State, and the protection of property

belonging to or in the care of the said association,

be and they are hereby authorized and empowered,

upon the request of the president of the board of

directors of the said association, to summon and

detail, in the name of the State of Maryland, such

a full enforcement of the by-laws, rules and regu-

lations aforesaid, during any fair or exhibition of the
