CHAPTER 450.


AN ACT to repeal chapter four hundred and nine-


teen of the acts of the General Assembly of Mary-


land, passed at the January session in eighteen


hundred and seventy-eight, entitled "An act to


incorporate the Agricultural and Mechanical As-


sociation of Wicomico county," and to enact the


following in lieu thereof:


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-


bly of Maryland, That chapter four hundred and


nineteen of the acts of the said General Assembly,

be and they are hereby authorized and empowered,


upon the request of the president of the board of


directors of the said association, to summon and


detail, in the name of the State of Maryland, such

deem sufficient for the perfect preservation of peace


and order, the protection of property aforesaid, and


a full enforcement of the by-laws, rules and regu-


lations aforesaid, during any fair or exhibition of the


said association, and upon and around any grounds
