SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly
|
|
|

of Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of
|
|
|
|
|
Baltimore are hereby authorized and empowered to
|
|
|
|
|
appropriate such a sum of money as they may deem
|
|
|
|
|
proper, not exceeding two thousand dollars, for pro-
|
|
|
|
|
curing and erecting a new monument, in lieu of the
|
|
|
|
|
one that was lost, to the memory of Colonel George
|
|
|
|
Empowered
|
Armistead, for the purpose of commemorating his
|
|
|
|

eminent military services in defence of his post upon

|
|

formity with the appreciation expressed of those

services bv the resolution of the Mayor and City

hundred and twenty-seven, and that the Mayor and

City Council of Baltimore are hereby authorized to

|
|
|
|
provide the necessary means for defraying the ex-
|
|
|
|
|
penses incidental to carrying this resolution into ef-
|
|
|
|
|
fect.

AN ACT to amend the act incorporating the Corn

Exchange Building Company in the city of Balti-

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, That section four of the acts passed
