such evidence as they may deem sufficient of the

approval and acceptance of said index by the

Orphans' Court as aforesaid, and the entire comple-

tion of the same, levy such amount of money for the

use of said Register as the Orphans' Court may deem
|
|
|
|
|
sufficient to compensate him for said book contain-
|
|
|
|
|
ing such index, and for transcribing such index.
|

|
|
Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall go into
|
|
|
|
|
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 402.

AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and three
|
|
|
|
|
of article six of the Code of Public Local Laws,
|
|
|
|
|
entitled " Caroline County," sub-title " Greens-
|
|
|
|
|
borough," as re-enacted by the act of eighteen
|
|
|
|
|
hundred and seventy, and to enact the following
|
|
|
|
|
in lieu thereof:
|
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
|
|
|
|
|
of Maryland, That section one hundred and three
|
|
|
|
|
of article six of the Public Local Laws, title " Caro-
|
|
|
|
Repealed and
re-enacted.

by the act of eighteen hundred and seventy, be and

the same is hereby repealed, and the following be
