	AN ACT to incorporate the Baltimore Abstract
	Company.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That Samuel Snowden, N. Hufus
	Gill, Abraham Sharp, Edward Otis Hinkley, E.
	Calvin Williams, Edward H. Fowler, John B. Tidy,
	Jr., and James McColgan, and the subscribers to
	the stock of the corporation hereby created, and their
	successors and assigns, be and they are hereby created
	a body corporate by the name of the Baltimore Ab-
	stract Company, and by that name shall have suc-	Created a
	cession and shall be capable in law to receive, hold	body corpo-
	and dispose of property ; to sue and be sued ; to	rate.
	plead and be impleaded in any court of law or
	equity ; to make, have and use a common seal, and
	the same to break, alter and renew at their pleasure ;
	to make by-laws for the government of said body
	corporate and its officers, provided the same shall
	not conflict with the constitution or laws of this
	State, or of the United States; and generally to do
	and execute all and singular such acts, matters and
	things as a corporation or body politic may and can
	lawfully execute, and all such matters and things
	as may be necessary to carry out the objects of said
	body corporate.
	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the capital stock
