	CHAPTER 228.
	AN ACT to create a new election district in Mont-
	gomery county, to be known as Great Falls Dis-
	trict, number ten, or the tenth election district of
	Montgomery county.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
	bly of Maryland, That a new election district be
	formed and laid out in Montgomery county, com- posed of a portion of the fourth election district of	New election district
	said county, to be known as Great Falls District,
	number ten, or the tenth election district of Mont-
	gomery county, the metes and bounds of which shall
	be as follows :
	Beginning at the mouth of Cabin John creek,
	thence up and with said Cabin John creek to the
	mouth of Thomas' run, thence up and with said
	Thomas' run until the same is crossed by the Oren-
	dorff mill road, thence with a straight line to where	Metes and
	Piney branch is crossed by the public road near the	bounds.

	until it empties into the Potomac river, thence down
	and with said Potomac river to the place of begin-
	ning.
	SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the voting place	Polls — where

	Maryland and the County Commissioners of Mont-
	gomery county be and they are hereby authorized and directed to appoint for said new district, in the
	month of January, in the year eighteen hundred

	of voters, and all other officers as they may now be
	authorized by law to appoint for other election dis-
	tricts in Montgomery county, and also to do what- ever else, within the scope of their authority, as may
	be necessary to carry out the object of this act.
