CHAPTER 220.

|
|
AN ACT to pay Mrs. Mary Denney, of Howard
|
|
|
|
county, back pension due her.
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS Mary Denney, of Howard county, the
|
|
|
|
daughter of a soldier of the revolutionary war, was
|
|
|
|
entitled to a pension from the State, but by an omis-
|

sion her name was not put upon the pension rolls ;
|
|
|
|
therefore —
|
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That the Comptroller of the State
|
|
|
|
is hereby authorized and directed to issue his war-
|
|
|
|
rant to the Treasurer, to pay to Mary Denney, of
Howard county, an annual pension of eighty dollars,
|

beginning from the first day of January, eighteen

|
|
hundred and seventy, to January first, eighteen hun-
|
|
|
|
dred and seventy-eight.

Commissioners of Queen Anne's county to regu-

late travel over the bridges in said county.
