CHAPTER 198.

AN ACT to repeal chapter one hundred and eighty-
|
|
|
|
one of the acts passed at the January session,
|
|
|
|
eighteen hundred and seventy-four, heing an act
|
|
|
|
to repeal article seventy-one of the Code of Pub-
|
|
|
|
lic General Laws, titled " Oysters," as amended
|
|
|
|
and re-enacted by chapter three hundred and sixty-
|
|
|
|
four of the acts passed at January session, eighteen
|
|
|
|
hundred and seventy, and also chapter one hun-
|
|
|
|
dred and sixty-seven of the acts passed at Janu-
|
|
|
|
ary session, eighteen hundred and seventy-two,
|
|
|
|
and to re-enact the same with amendments and
|
|
|
|
add additional sections thereto.

|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assem-
|
|
|
|
bly of Maryland, That chapter one hundred and
|

are hereby repealed and the following enacted in

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That no steamer shall be

|

used or employed in catching oysters in the waters

of this State with scoop, dredge or similar instru-

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the Comptroller

consecutive months next preceding such application,
and to no other person, issue a license to such resi-
