acts repealed

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts
of acts inconsistent herewith be and the same are


hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 113.


AN ACT to amend the sixty-sixth section of arti-


cle nineteen of the Code of Public Local Laws


of this State, relating to Somerset county, in


regard to justices of the peace and constables,


by repealing the said sixty-sixth section and re-


enacting the following in lieu thereof.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-


bly of Maryland, That the sixty-sixth section of

Repealed and

the nineteenth article of the Code of Public Local

re-enacted.

Laws of this State, of Somerset county, relating to


justices of the peace and constables, be and the


same is hereby repealed and re-enacted to read as


follows :


SECTION 66. And be it enacted by the General As-


sembly of Maryland; That a certified copy of any

judgment of a justice of the peace of said county
may be recorded in the clerk's office in said county,

and when so recorded shall be a lien upon the real


estate of the defendant in said judgment, and upon


the written order of the plaintiff or his attorney,


the clerk of the circuit court for said county may


issue execution upon such judgment, directed to the


sheriff of said county, as upon judgments rendered


in the circuit court for said county.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take


effect from the date of its passage.
