and all appropriations for and gifts, grants and devises here-
tofore or hereafter made, given, granted, devised or bequeathed
to the house of refuge shall survive and inure to the benefit of,
and vest and remain in the Maryland school for boys, as fully
as if made for or given, granted,. devised or bequeathed to it
by said name of the Maryland school for boys.

509 C. The Maryland school for boys shall have all the
rights, powers and privileges given or granted to, and be subject
to all the duties, restrictions, limitations and considerations
imposed upon the said house of refuge by chapter 64 of the acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland, approved February 8,
1831, and all acts amendatory thereof, as fully and absolutely as
if the same were herein repeated, recited and specifically set out
and re-enacted; and in particular, all commitments to said
house of refuge shall remain in full force and effect as commit-
ments to said the Maryland school for boys, and shall not be
invalidated by the two preceding sections.

509 D. All benefits and immunities that otherwise would
inure to the house of refuge by its charter or by appropria-
tions, grants, gifts, devises, bequests or operations of law shall
survive and inure to the Maryland school for boys, though not
specifically set out herein.
