half (2 1/2) cents per gallon for milk or cream, and two (2) cents
per gallon for butter-milk or skim-milk, for a distance not
exceeding fifty (50) miles.

305 B. On and after April 16, 1906, no common carrier shall
refuse to receive at any station, wharf or stopping place, a
quantity of milk, cream, butter-milk or skim-milk in a unit of
two (2) gallons, three (3) gallons, five (5) gallons, seven (7)
gallons, or ten (10) gallons, or groups of these units.

30 6 e. Any breach of the two preceding sections shall be
deemed a misdemeanor and the common carrier shall be
fined fifty (50) dollars for the first offense and one hundred
(100) dollars for each succeeding offense.

306. Any and all persons, partnerships or bodies corporate,
engaged in manufacturing, bottling, selling or dealing in
mineral, soda or aerated waters, wines, beer, lager beer, weiss
beer, white beer or other beverages, or milk, cream or their
by-products, including ice cream in kegs, boxes, trays, carriers,
crates, founts, bottles, syphons, jugs, tins, barrels, casks or any
other vessels, with his, her, its, or their name or names or
other marks or devices printed, branded, stamped, stencilled,
engraved, etched, blown, impressed or otherwise produced
upon such kegs, boxes, trays, carriers, crates, founts, bottles,
syphons, jugs, tins, barrels, casks or any other vessel, may file
with the clerk of the circuit court of the county in which his,
her, its or their principal office or place of business (or in the
case of a foreign corporation, its principal office or place of
business or agency) is located, or with the clerk of the superior
court of Baltimore city, should such principal office or place
of business (or agency as the case may be), be located in the
city of Baltimore, a description of the name or names, marks
or devices, so used by him, her, it or them, respectively, and
cause such description to be printed twice a week, for two suc-
