PREFACE.

-whole body of our Public Local Law applicable to the city of
Baltimore upon the several subjects covered by the Articles of
the Public General Laws.

With a view to make the work more acceptable, the Consti-
tution of the United States with an analytical index and with
references to the decisions of the Supreme Court construing its
-several provisions, the Charter of Maryland and the Constitution
of Maryland with on analytical index and with references to
the decisions of our Court of Appeals interpreting its several
decisions precede the Public General Laws.

Some errors and omissions, detected too late for correction
in the text, are noted in a page of Corrigenda and Addenda at
the end of Volume II.
