10. The release or receipt of a woman over the age of
eighteen years to any person or persons, body corporate or
body politic for any money paid, property delivered or obliga-
tion satisfied shall be a good and valid discharge of such person
or persons, body corporate or body politic in the same manner
and to the same extent as releases or receipts of the same
character are now by law good and valid when executed and
delivered by persons of the full age of twenty-one years.

ARTICLE LXXX.

REPORTER AND CODIFIER—STATE.

1. How appointed; tenure of office.
2. Salary , how paid.
3. To advertise for sealed proposals,
for publication of reports;
award of contract; copyright ;
proviso.
4. Bond of publisher.
5. Shall publish decisions of court of
appeals; clerk; salary; type-
written copies of decisions to
be delivered, how paid for.

6. Volume 97 of Maryland reports,
how paid for.
7. To prepare code of public general
laws after session of 1910; to
provide for publication of pub-
lic local laws.
8. Code to be submitted to commis-
sion appointed by court of
appeals.
9...Code to be in possession of and
sold by State librarian.

1. The state reporter and codifier shall be appointed by the
judges of the court of appeals and shall hold his office for the
term of four years unless sooner removed by said judges, and
shall be styled "The State Reporter and Codifier," and shall be
re-eligible from time to time.

2. The state reporter and codifier shall receive from the
treasurer of the State a salary of three thousand dollars per year,
in monthly instalments.

*NOTE—This act of 1904, chapter 327, repealed the pre-existing article,
"Reporter—State," and enacted this new article.
