1768 PUBLIC PRINTER——PUBLIC WORKS——BOARD OF. [ARTS. 78 & 78A


report of all bids received by it from all parties whomsoever ;
the money so to be paid under said contract shall be due and
payable as follows : One-third at the end of sixty days from
the commencement of said session; one-third at the end
thereof, and the balance so soon thereafter as the said con-
tractor hath fully and entirely completed the said contract; and
the comptroller is hereby directed to draw his warrants upon
the treasurer for such payments at such times, but no warrants
shall be drawn unless, at the times thereof, the said printing
board shall have certified in writing to said comptroller that
up to the time of granting said certificates the said printing has
been done and contract performed as called for by it up to said
time.

5. So much of said printing as shall be necessary for the
general assembly during its session shall be delivered to the
presiding officers of each house, and such presiding officer
shall give or cause to be given to the printer a receipt for all
printed matter delivered to the respective branches of the
legislature.

6. The said board is hereby authorized to pay the sum of
fifty dollars as additional compensation to such officer in the
treasurer's or comptroller's department whom it shall select to
do the clerical work necessary in making said coutract.
