71. The faculty of the State Normal School shall consist of
the principal and as many teachers as shall be determined by the
State board of education, who shall be appointed by said board,
and have such salaries and perform such duties as said board shall
direct.
Farmers' Institutes.
1000, ch. 363.
122. The sum of four thousand dollars per annum is hereby
appropriated for the formation and support of farmers' institutes
in this State; and the Comptroller is hereby authorized to issue
his warrant annually upon the Treasurer for the said sum of
money out of any fund not otherwise appropriated; the said sum
shall be payable to the order of the Maryland Agricultural Col-
lege on or after the 1st of October of each fiscal year, and the
first yearly payment shall be made during the fiscal year ending
September 30, 1900.
