22. The regular and special reports of the survey, with
proper illustrations and maps, shall be printed as the commis-
sioners may direct, and the reports shall be distributed or sold by
the said commissioners as the interest of the State and of science
demands, and all moneys obtained by the sale of the reports
shall be paid into the State treasury.

23. All material collected, after having served the purposes
of the survey, shall be distributed by the commissioners to the
educational institutions, in such manner as to be of the greatest
advantage to the educational interests of the State; or, if deemed
advisable, the whole or a part of such material shall be put on
permanent exhibition.

24. Said commission is hereby authorized to make provision
for the completion of the topographic survey of Maryland in
such manner as in the opinion of the commission will be of the
greatest benefit to the agricultural, industrial, geological and
military requirements of the State of Maryland, and to publish
special reports dealing with the various mineral products and
with the natural resources of each county in the State of Mary-
land.

25. For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this
sub-title, the sum of fifteen thousand dollars annually, or so much
thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any
funds in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, and the said
amount shall be drawn from the treasury by the said commission
in the same manner as the other funds of the survey.
