the one-half to the State and the other half to the informer.

119. Executors, administrators, trustees, sheriffs, ex-sheriffs,
coroners, constables and collectors of taxes in Charles county may
exercise a discretionary power as to notices which the laws of
this State require to be given in newspapers, either by inserting
them in newspapers or by putting them up at the court-bouse
door and other public places in the county.

120. All accounts for officers' fees shall be made out in a fair
and clear manner, and in words at length; and whenever any
person interested in them, or to whom the same are charged,
shall require a copy of such account, said officers shall, in as short
a, time as may be convenient, give him an account of said charges
in words at length; and no account for officers' fees, rendered for
services to or in behalf of any county of this State, shall be
allowed by the county commissioners thereof, until said account
has been submitted to and approved by the judges of the court
of said county or a majority thereof.

121. The preceding section shall only apply to the counties of
Charles, Caroline, Kent, Talbot, Prince George's, Queen Anne's,
Harford and Dorchester.

122. It shall not be lawful for any person to employ any
canoe, boat or vessel in catching or taking oysters with scoop,
scrape, drag or dredge, or any similar instrument, within the
waters or the tributaries of the Potomac river bordering upon
the shores of Charles county, from the most eastern point of the
