JUSTICES OF THE PEACE AND CONSTABLES.

175. There shall be the following number of justices of the
peace and constables for Cecil county: for each of the election
districts, numbers three, five and six, three justices of the peace
and two constables; for district number seven, four justices of
the peace and two constables; and for each of the remaining dis-
tricts, two justices of the peace and two constables.
LICENSE TO SELL CARRIAGES NOT MADE IN THIS STATE.

176. No person shall bring into Cecil county any carriages,
hacks, gigs or buggy wagons of any description, not manufac-
tured in this State, to be sold on commission, or otherwise, with-
out first obtaining a license for that purpose.

177. The clerk of the circuit court for said county, upon appli-
cation for license for the purpose mentioned in the preceding sec-
tion, and upon payment of forty dollars, shall issue such license,
and such license shall be renewed annually.

178. Any person offending against the provisions of section
176 shall be subject to a fine of not less than twenty nor more
than fifty dollars, to be recovered as small debts.
LIQUOR AND INTOXICATING DRINKS.

179. It shall not be lawful for any person, or any house, com-
pany or association, or body corporate, to barter or sell, directly
or indirectly, or to solicit or receive orders for the purchase of, at
any place within the limits of Cecil county, or to give away at
his or its place of business, within the limits of said county, any
spirituous or fermented liquors or alcoholic bitters, or intoxi-
cating drinks of any kind, or cider, tonic beer, lager beer,
schnapps or gin, or any article used and sold as a beverage, in
