ADDENDA AND CORRIGENDA.

ARTICLE I.—ALLEGANY COUNTY.
After section 44, insert the following:

CRUELTY TO ANIMALS.

1880, ch. 129.

44A. The provisions of sections 242 to 245 of article 4 of the
public local laws, title " City of Baltimore," relating to " Cruelty
to Animals," shall apply to Allegany county as fully as if
repeated in this article.

ARTICLE II—ANNE AEUNDEL COUNTY.

Strike out section 214, sub-title "SHERIFF," and substitute as
follows:

SHERIFF.

1882, ch. 376. 1888, ch. 119.

214. The sheriff of Anne Arundel county shall be allowed for
keeping and boarding prisoners committed to the jail of said
county such sum as the county commissioners shall determine,
not to exceed the sum of thirty cents a day for each such pris-
oner, and the county commissioners shall have quarterly account-
ings with him for the same upon presentation of his accounts for
the same with proper vouchers, and shall levy for the same an-
nually. He shall also be entitled to receive from the county
commissioners, to be levied annually by them, for carrying and
conveying each person under sentence to the State penitentiary,
or the house of correction, or to or from jails of any of the conn-
ties of the State, and the jail or station-houses of the city of Bal-
