to be recovered before any justice of the peace of said county;
one-half to the informer and the other half to the treasurer of
the school board of said county, for the benefit of the school

fund of said county.

1880, ch. 223.

196. It shall be unlawful for any person to place any set seine
or any seines or nets in any manner rendered stationary, in that
part of the waters of Synepuxent bay, north of South Point, Isle
of Wight bay, Assawoman bay and Saint Martin's river, which is
located equally at all points on either side of a line drawn
through the centre of each of said waters, from the northern to
the southern extremity thereof, and extending in width at all
points of said-line one-third part of the distance which separates
the opposite shores of the waters aforesaid, at said points; and
all seines or nets used in violation of this section shall be forfeited
and sold as hereinafter directed.

197. It shall be unlawful for any person to haul or fish with
any haul or set seine, or to leave or to permit to remain setting,
any set seine in any part of the waters of Synepuxent bay and its
tributaries, north of South Point, during the interval from the
hour of six o'clock P. M. of Saturday of each week until the hour
of six o'clock A. M. of the following Monday.

1883, ch. 272.

198. No person shall catch by means of a seine any perch fish
of less than a fourth of a pound each in the waters described in
the preceding section.

1880, ch. 233.

199. Any person violating any of the provisions of the three
preceding sections, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof before a justice of the peace for Worcester
county or in the circuit court of the same county, shall be fined
not less than five or more than twenty dollars, and be imprisoned
until said fine and all costs in the case are paid; provided, said
imprisonment shall not exceed thirty days in any event.
