121. Washington, Somerset, Queen Anne's, Montgomery, Dor-
chester, Allegany, St. Mary's, Calvert, Caroline, Carroll, Prince
George's, Wicomico, Worcester, Kent, Garrett and Cecil coun-
ties, and Baltimore city, and all cities, towns or boroughs in which
dogs are taxed by municipal ordinance, are exempted from the
operation of sections 157-162 of article 81 of the code of public
general laws, title "Revenue and Taxes," providing for the tax-
ation of dogs in this State.
ELECTION DISTRICTS.

122. Washington county is divided into twenty-three elec-
tion districts, according to their present names, bounds and limits,
and all elections for public officers shall be held in the said dis-
tricts, at the places therein heretofore established by law for that
purpose.

123. The county commissioners shall have power and author-
ity to create new election districts, in addition to those already
established, whenever in their judgment the convenience of the
voters of the county or any part thereof will thereby be promoted;
and shall also have power to abridge or enlarge any districts here-
tofore established by the legislature, or which may hereafter be
established by said commissioners; and shall have the further
power to designate the places of holding the election polls in all
election districts.

each receive three dollars a day for their services whilst acting as
such.
